Creating a Legacy

Legacy gifting will have meaning and impact for generations to come.

Legacy giving does not require a large income or vast estate. It only requires an intention to make a difference by identifying CLF in your will, estate plan, life insurance policy or retirement plan!

Legacy gifting can take many forms: an Outright Gift or a Deferred Gift through a Gift Annuity, Pooled Income Fund and/or Charitable Remainder Trust.

We can accommodate whatever combination of these gifting vehicles you choose.

By sharing a few details about your commitment, you will empower your giving: 

• Have a clear understanding of your giving intent.
• Honor your wishes in the instance of uncertainty.
• Plan for the future of Creative Living Foundation.

Corporate Matching Gift

Many companies match their employees’ contributions to non-profit organizations. If your company has such a policy, simply submit a matching gift form with your donation and we’ll take care of it from there.

Stock/Securities Gifts

For stock/securities held in brokerage accounts - your broker can assist you in making a gift of stock/securities via a direct transfer to Creative Living Foundation. Giving a gift of publicly traded stock/securities that have increased in value and that you have owned for over one year may provide better tax benefits than giving cash. Your charitable income tax deduction benefit is equal to the current fair market value of the stock/securities so you avoid paying the capital gains tax on any increase in their value above the original cost. You may also save on brokerage fees because you are transferring ownership rather than selling the stock.
